“Don't bother shouting. He will surely die this time, and now it's your turn. You're going to get a taste of what my brothers have suffered through,” the man said, walking toward Skyler as he spoke.
Skyler kept turning her head away from the man, refusing to look at him as she kept stepping backward.
“Are you so confident that I'm dead?”
Jared's voice suddenly came from behind.
The man was stumped and turned around to find that, except for Jared's Golem Body, he was not harmed in the slightest.
“How is this possible? Why aren't you dead?” the man asked incredulously.
“Mr. Chance,” Skyler called out, running to hide behind him.
“I told you that you're all rubbish. If you manage to kill me, won't that be a huge slap to my face?” Jared said coldly.
“That's impossible. You can't be alive. Who are you?” the man demanded loudly.
“Why don't you go ask that question in hell?” Jared said, suddenly appearing right in front of the man.
The man was startled and quickly backed away, but he was not as fast as Jared.
Meanwhile, Jared's fist grew bigger and bigger and he smashed down hard on the man.
Noticing this, the man suddenly turned into a cloud of black mist, and the bodies of the Twin Grim Reapers were left sprawled in front of Jared.
“Trying to escape?”
Jared leaped after the cloud of black mist.
His body radiated gold light, and his speed was as fast as lightning. He caught up with the black mist in an instant and penetrated through it.
The cloud of black mist manifested into a human figure and sneered, “I have no physical form now. You cannot hurt me.”
“If I can't hurt you, I'll devour you,” Jared said.
His stomach suddenly caved in, and he opened his mouth, unleashing a powerful suction force that pulled the figure toward him.
