Jared went to a Teleportation Array and was transported to the demon beasts' secret realm right away.

When the demon beasts in that secret realm sensed the arrival of a human being, they started stirring.

The auras of demon beasts drew increasingly nearer to him.

But when the demon beasts had gotten close to him, they froze. With mighty roars, they then parted and welcomed him.

Amidst their roars, a gigantic bird on Demon Beast Mountain took to the sky before landing in front of the man.

It flapped its wings, prompting him to hop on.

Jared leaped onto the bird. Subsequently, the bird soared up to the sky and flew toward Demon Beast Mountain.

At the sight of the familiar hut, Jared jumped off the bird's back and rushed into the structure.

“Master!”

Feenix was still in the hut without a stitch on her. She regarded the man with a smile on her face.

Seeing that she was safe and sound, Jared inwardly breathed a sigh of relief.

“Was it you who saved me back when I sustained an injury and fell unconscious, Feenix?” he queried.

He was in a coma at that time and knew nothing at all, merely postulating the chain of events later.

Feenix dipped her head in admission. “Left with no recourse back when you were injured, I could only force my soul and sense out before coupling with you to form the Power of Dragons and Phoenixes. It was only then that you could be healed, Master. I hope you don't hold it against me, for I had no choice!”

Sure enough, I was intimate with her while unconscious. But then, I can't blame her either since she only did it to save me!

“I don't hold it against you. After all, you did it to save me,” Jared reassured.

A smile curved Feenix's lips when she saw that the man did not condemn her. She asked, “Is something the matter that you came here to the demon beasts' secret realm, Master?”

Jared swiftly explained the purpose of his visit. Unexpectedly, Feenix's expression turned somber after hearing it all.

“What's wrong?” Jared questioned upon glimpsing the look on her face.
