“Jared!”
“Jared!”
At that sight, Josephine, Melanie, and Renee unleashed their spiritual energy in unison, preparing to rush toward Skylar.
However, they stopped the next instant and looked at Jared in a daze.
Skylar's claw strike didn't result in blood splattering or any visible wound.
Jared sneered and riveted his eyes on Skylar disparagingly.
The smile on Skylar's face froze and was replaced with a look of utter disbelief.
He had exerted all his strength in that claw strike earlier, and Jared had taken the hit head-on, yet he still failed to injure Jared.
Skylar couldn't cause his opponent the slightest harm, even as the latter stood unmoving in his spot.
“H-How is this possible? No way!” Resentment filled Skylar's eyes as he looked at Jared.
In order to defeat the man, Skylar had even undergone the most brutal training.
Now that he had completed his training, Skylar thought he could triumph over and take revenge against Jared effortlessly.
In the end, he still wasn't Jared's match.
Not only was he not a match, but he also couldn't even wound Jared in the slightest.
The turns of events caused Skylar to be disheartened and dumbfounded.
He wasn't the only one to feel that. The six purple-robed emissaries also shared his sentiment and frowned after witnessing that. They didn't expect Jared's capabilities to grow so powerful in such a short time.
“Do you think you're the only one who has been cultivating and has improved during this period? Let me tell you. You will never surpass me.” Jared chuckled coldly.
Then, he sent Skylar flying away with a single kick. Skylar's body was launched into the distance like a kite with a broken thread before landing heavily on the ground.
