“You punished Tigerus, so why is he inviting us for dinner, Dad? Doesn't he hold a grudge against you?” Ivasha asked in puzzlement.

“Perhaps he realized he was wrong and wanted to apologize by inviting us to a meal,” Yuven answered.

Ivasha frowned. “I think Tigerus has changed. Also, Xandros left without so much as greeting us!”

“All right, don't be so paranoid. Tigerus has been my subordinate for years. I know what kind of person he is. He's just a brute devoid of any schemes. “I'm happy that you accepted my invitation, Your Majesty. I was afraid you weren't coming because you were upset with me,” said Tigerus humbly.

“That's not the case at all! You've been my subordinate for years. I'm familiar with your personality. I know you're rash, but you should consider the consequences when you do something in the future.” Yuven patted Tigerus' shoulder.

“I will keep this in mind, Your Majesty. Please, come in.” Tigerus gestured for his guests to enter.
