Jared grew speechless. He doesn't even know what this is, but he gave this to me as a gift? How am I supposed to accept this?

“Then how do I take it?” Jared muttered in exasperation.

“All you have to do is remove the runes on the surface to obtain the egg. Consider it my gift to you. If I hadn't brought you here, you wouldn't have known about this egg. Besides, many individuals desire it. Don't think it's peaceful around here; most people are hiding in their own space.
