Jared's expression darkened as he heard Xander had come to his house.
Josephine grabbed his arm when Jared was about to walk into the mansion. “Jared, please don't go in. I am scared.”
Josephine was afraid that Jared might engage in a conflict with Xander.
“Don't worry. I am here. There's no need to be afraid...”
Jared patted the back of Josephine's hand.
With that, the crowd followed Jared and entered the mansion grandiosely.
A fierce-looking middle-aged man was sipping tea unhurriedly on the couch in the living room. He was wearing a grey tunic, and his height was average. That man was Xander.
There were two subordinates standing behind Xander. Jared took a glance and noticed they were both at least Fifth Level Grandmasters.
“I am here to see Jared. If Jared isn't here, everyone else should leave and not disturb me...”
Hearing the door open, Xander did not even turn around.
“This is my house. You should be the one leaving.”
Jared furrowed his brows slightly.
Upon hearing that, Xander placed his cup on the table and turned around slowly. He shifted his gaze toward the door and was stunned momentarily when he saw Jared.
“So you're Jared?” Xander asked.
“Yes. I am the one who killed your son and your nephew. Also, I injured your brother.”
