"Thank you. Send my regards to your mom," uttered Joan politely.
So he's the man Larry mentioned. Jessica stroked her chin while studying the man before her, nodding.
Since he's this handsome, does Joan seriously not have any feelings for him? I doubt it! No. I can't let this be. I have to find out!
After a moment of small talk, Johann Wright finally decided to leave.
"What's inside the box? I want a taste too." Jessica stared at the box in Joan's hand curiously.

Sometime later, a piece of freshly made pizza was presented in front of the women. "Here you go."
Without any care in the world, Jessica instantly dug in, rendering Joan speechless. Joan stared at her friend for a minute before shaking her head and walking away.
"This is so delicious. You're blessed to get such good food, you know," remarked Jessica.
It was indeed fortunate that Joan had met some kind-hearted neighbors.
"Hey. Do you find that man attractive?" Jessica tried to sound Joan out.
"Hmm. He's average, I guess."
Larry's the only attractive man for me.
Jessica breathed a sigh of relief reply. What a shame. If I weren't in a relationship with Caspian, I would've made a move on that guy!
