A Touch of Sweetness novel (Finnick and Vivian) novel Chapter 2930

"It doesn't matter if I don't understand a thing- ' still just follow your lead," Nancy replied while patting Larry's shoulder.

Jory felt helpless as he observed how determined his wife was.

"Mr. Norton, since Nancy is resolved in helping you, let's just prepare all the relevant documents," he suggested, indirectly agreeing with Nancy.

Larry thought to himself, Aren't they being a bit too reckless right now?

Naturally, Jory would not mind lending Larry some money, for he knew how dire the situation that the latter was in right then. He was willing to help Larry, just like how Dustin was willing to befriend him back then.

No one would have imagined that these two men started off as enemies and had become such good friends today.

"Thank you," uttered Larry gratefully.

"Hey! Count me in!" Jessica dashed toward them.

Judging by how hard the woman was panting, Larry suspected that she was up to something again.

"Here! This is everything I've got, and I'm giving them to you. After you make enough money, you'll have to repay me twice as much!" she exclaimed while patting her chest as Larry stared at her, perplexed.

"You don't have to hide it from me, Larry. I know you're broke now because Joan told me, and she even asked me not to ask any more money from you."

Larry was shocked. What? How did Joan know? I don't remember telling her anything about this.

"Hats off to Joan for guessing everything so accurately," mumbled Jessica.

Ah. So she guessed it herself. I guess we're really connected, huh? A smile of satisfaction crept across Larry's face.

"Are these enough? If not, I can sell the bookstore."

"Don't! You can't do that!" Caspian rushed in, panicking upon hearing that statement.
