"By the way, Abelyn, I never asked you about what happened when Della abducted you and Joan. Why don't you tell me about it? Dustin, if you don't mind, can you go with Caspian to find Joan?" Larry said while shooting a glance at Caspian.
"Sure. Dustin, let's go." With that, Caspian dragged Dustin to leave.
What's happening?Joan is missing now, yet why does Larry still look as composed? Dustin was perplexed.
"Wait, Larry. Shouldn't you go with us?" Dustin asked loudly.
"You can go off first. I'll catch up with you guys soon." Larry waved his hand dismissively.
After they left, only Larry, Jessica, and Abelyn were left.
Jessica couldn't help but gaze at them in bewilderment. What is Larry trying to do? Why is he glaring at Abelyn?
"Abelyn, there're no outsiders here. Can you tell the truth now?" A moment later, Larry asked her.
In the end, I still can't outsmart Larry! Abelyn snickered and recollected herself. Then, she lifted her head and looked arrogant.
"Larry, what exactly do you mean by that?"
"Abelyn, Jessica isn't an outsider. Since we're friends, I hope you can tell me everything truthfully, including what happened when Della kidnapped Joan and you," Larry said in dissatisfaction.
Oh? Is there more to it? Jessica stroked her chin thoughtfully. Yet, why didn't Abelyn tell everyone?
"There's nothing much I can say. Larry, Joan is missing now, yet you're still in the mood to chat with me. Aren't you worried that Joan will be sad when she finds out?" Abelyn raised her voice and deliberately changed the subject.
"Do you trust me?" Suddenly, Larry turned around to gaze at Jessica and asked her.
