"I hope you guys can help relay a message to Larry: from then till now, I have always loved him," Joan said passionately and sincerely, so much so that a few young ones among them were touched.
All humans would inevitably die. Why does she have to be afraid?
Nonetheless, the men couldn't help but shiver at the mention of Larry's name.
"Boss, she is Larry's girlfriend. He wouldn't let us off the hook once he finds out that we did this," one of them suggested timidly.
Their boss was stunned the moment he heard it. A few seconds later, he caressed his beard and began to ponder over it.
Miles away, Larry felt increasingly uneasy. Why can't we find her even after we've assigned some many men for the search?
"Larry, My left eye was twitching," Jessica said softly while grabbing onto his arm tightly.
Jessica was nervous, she felt that it was a bad omen. Could it be that something bad had happened to Joan?
On the other hand, Larry stood aside and didn't utter a word. He looked extremely worn out.
Bang! Miles away, two cars suddenly collided. Fortunately, it was only a minor accident.
"Is that how you drive? Are you blind?" The driver yelled disgruntledly.
"I'm sorry, it was my mistake. Rest assured that I'll
compensate you." When a man replied outside their car, Joan felt that the voice sounded familiar.
Joan tilted her head as she sank into her thoughts. The next moment, a thought flashed through her mind.
"Johann! I'm Joan!" Joan shouted in the car.
"Never mind. Make way!" The driver waved at Johann and hopped in. He then asked the others to cover Joan's mouth. Judging from Johann's bare expression, they felt relieved and immediately sped off.
