Is that really it?l bet it's that jerk Johann who intentionally got her drunk!
"Johann did that on purpose! He planned to get you drunk by asking you to drink. You even stayed..."
"Larry!" Joan interrupted Larry without waiting for him to complete his sentence.
"Johann is much better than that. He's a reliable and civilized man," Joan continued.
Is she defending that man now?Ha! It has just been one night and she's already taking his side? Women are indeed very gullible!
"I won't allow you to meet Johann in the future." Larry leaned his head against Joan's collarbone and said softly.
What? I understand that he's jealous, but isn't it too much to ban me from meeting Johann ever again? Joan turned away and looked out of the window with a troubled expression on her face.
"Why? You are not willing to do that?" Larry touched her cheeks lightly and asked as he noticed her dilemma.
Of course I'm not willinglAfter all, he's Clara's son!
"Alright, that's enough. You should go downstairs and eat your breakfast!" Joan said impatiently.
Larry was upset at the woman's nonchalance towards the matter.
"Larry, am I getting a treat?" Jessica asked cheekily over the phone.
Why should I be treating? Larry was in an extremely bad mood and did not feel like talking.
"I'm not free," Larry replied and was about to end the call.
"Wait! It has already been so long, it's time for you to give me a treat. I have been rushing here and there just for you and Joan." Jessica decided to play the emotional card.
This girl! She's really trying all means just to get a free meal.
"Fine, fine. I'll treat!" Larry hung up after saying that.
