Chloe smiled but didn't respond. Just then, her phone rang. Seeing it was James, she answered.

"Chloe, do you have a visa for Mamaica?"

His question reminded her that she didn't.

Her passport was issued when she married, and although she had traveled abroad a few times, she had never been to Mamaica. "Can I still get one in time?"

"If you pay extra for expedited processing... it should be fine."

Chloe felt a bit relieved at his words. "I'll go apply this afternoon. It should be done before you leave."

"You didn't clock in at the office today," James remarked.

Chloe felt a bit embarrassed. She had been taking her job quite casually. Anyone else would have been fired by now.

After hanging up, Admas, who had been listening, asked, "Chloe, are you going abroad?"

Chloe put down her phone. "Yes, I have some work over there and need to go for a while."

"A while? How long is that?" Admas suddenly had a bad premonition. It seemed Chloe was really planning to leave for good.

"I don't know yet. So, let's not plan the birthday celebration. I might not be in the country." Chloe hadn't intended to tell Admas, but since James' call had made it clear, she decided not to hide it.

Feeling anxious, Admas asked, "Chloe, are you leaving because of Michael?" He thought, "How heartbroken must she be to not even want to stay in the country?"

Chloe shook her head. "This has nothing to do with him. It's really because of work." Accompanying James for his surgery was indeed part of her job.

Seeing Chloe's determination, Admas could only sigh repeatedly.

On the other hand, Victoria and Cathy were secretly delighted upon hearing that Chloe was going abroad. With Chloe gone, Michael's attention would surely shift to Chloe. This would make it much easier for Cathy to join Paramount Airlines.

"Admas, I have something to attend to. I must leave now." Chloe stood up. Breakfast was nearly finished anyway.

Admas, understanding Chloe was going to handle her visa, didn't feel right about holding her back and simply nodded.

After Chloe left, Admas couldn't stay either. He quickly wiped his mouth, leaving Victoria and Cathy behind.

"Mom, if Chloe leaves, do you think Michael will chase after her abroad?" Cathy was already dreaming that if Michael went abroad for Chloe, Paramount Airlines would need a new leader, and she fancied herself in that role.

Cathy guessed Admas would never want to give Paramount Airlines to Ben.

Victoria gently tapped Cathy's forehead. "Stop dreaming." Despite her words, she couldn't hide her smile.

After eating, they ran into one of Victoria's friends at the door. "Oh, Zooey, what a coincidence!"

Zooey smiled at Victoria, "I didn't expect to run into you here. Have you just finished eating?"
