Admas said, "You don't need to guess. How many people have left Shawn Heavy Industries? Don't you have a clue?"

A shiver ran down Michael's spine. He remembered that Owen had left with Lucy.

He thought, "So, Is Grandpa saying Owen might be involved in this?"

"Forget it. You've come to me for help. If you want to leverage our family's influence, fine. But don't think that small amount of money will last long if you don't resolve things quickly."

Michael knew that despite his wealth, maintaining a company in poor shape could lead to financial disaster in no time.

Admas gave him a sharp look. "Understand? You'd better show me you've got your act together by tomorrow. Chloe's off to Mamaica. If you're still acting like a clueless fool, you might find yourself managing a company in Mamaica instead."

With that, Admas leaned on his cane and went upstairs. It was getting late, and Michael had to prepare for tomorrow's fireworks show with Chloe, so he left Shawn Manor.

In the study upstairs, Simeon stood before Admas. "Sir Shawn, the Miller family's representatives returned some time ago. Would you like to meet with them?"

Admas had taken a secret trip abroad recently, meeting with a few people. He hadn't anticipated that the Miller family would head back so soon.

"The Miller family's young lady? It's been years since I last saw her. If possible, have her over for a visit and a meal."

Simeon nodded. "Certainly, Sir Shawn. I'll make the arrangements."

At the Miller Manor, Amanda was visibly anxious about Chloe's upcoming trip abroad.

Marvin sat on the couch, watching her pace back and forth, and finally said with a touch of exasperation, "Aunt, you're blocking my view of the TV!"

"All you do is watch TV. Why don't you help me out a bit?" Amanda snapped back.

Marvin looked genuinely innocent. "How am I supposed to help? The DNA results aren't back yet. I can't make them hurry up. What else can I do but wait?"

Her frustration was palpable. She seemed ready to snap at anyone and everything, including Marvin.
