Chloe gently touched her belly and said, "I'm fine."

Actually, Gigi hadn't used much force. Chloe had just lost her balance.

"There are still some of your clothes in the bedroom upstairs. You should go and change."

Michael said, his voice sounding a bit awkward. His eyes darted around nervously, not daring to look at her.

Chloe looked down and realized she was wearing a white shirt that had gotten wet and turned see-through.

Even her underwear was visible. With Michael standing so close, he must have noticed.

Chloe felt a bit embarrassed, so she turned and headed upstairs.

Admas pretended to be angry and playfully tapped Gigi on the head while Gigi just stuck out his tongue, looking for a reward.

It was as if Gigi thought he had done something good.

Admas, as if understanding him, reached out and patted him on the head. "You little rascal!"

Chloe took off her wet clothes and changed into something dry. She was about to head to the bathroom to wash her hands when she heard the door open.

She tiptoed out and saw Michael standing in the bedroom, looking around as if searching for something.

Seeing this, Chloe grabbed a nearby pillow and threw it at him.

The pillow hit Michael on the head but didn't hurt, falling to the floor. He turned to look at the angry Chloe, then bent down to pick up the pillow.

"I was changing! Who said you could come in? Are you trying to take advantage of me?"

"This sneaky man! I knew he wasn't up to any good!" Chloe thought.

Michael wanted to defend himself. He genuinely hadn't meant to take advantage of her.

But then he noticed her blouse was still unbuttoned, revealing glimpses of her fair skin. He squinted slightly. "Is it really me taking advantage, or are you trying to play hard to get?"

Chloe followed his gaze and looked down, realizing her neckline was wide open.

"Ah!"

She screamed, quickly covering herself with one hand while grabbing another pillow with the other and hurling it at him. "Stop looking!"

Michael raised his hand and caught the pillow quickly, setting it aside. "Are you trying to kill me?"

Michael thought, "Although the pillow didn't hurt, she was being a bit too aggressive!"

"You're lucky all I did was hit you."

If it weren't for Admas, Chloe definitely wouldn't have let him off so lightly.

Michael watched as she turned away to button up her blouse, finding her cautiousness oddly cute. His heart softened.

"Yeah, you went easy on me. If you want, you could even whip me."

Chloe was confused.

"What's wrong with you?"

"How had I never noticed before that he had such strange tendencies?

This sneaky man had really hidden his true colors well," Chloe thought.
