Michael was stunned to realize that Asher had come to Mamaica without him knowing.

"I'll call him and see what's going on," he said, quickly hanging up on Ethan and dialing Asher.

"Where are you?"

"Why? What's up?"

"Just answer me. Where are you?"

"In Mamaica."

"What are you doing here?"

Asher let out a short laugh.

"Why else? Kranton Bank is giving us a hard time, so I'm here to find new partners for Shawn Heavy Industries. If cash flow gets tight, we need someone to back us up."

His irritation was obvious, like he was ready to deal with Lucy right then and there.

Then he paused before asking, "Wait, what do you mean 'here'?"

He thought Michael was still back home.

"You're in Mamaica too?"

He vaguely remembered hearing that Chloe was planning to leave the country. And just yesterday, he had bumped into Candy. "Could it be... Chloe's in Mamaica too?" he wondered silently.

"Yeah," Michael replied, confirming his suspicion.

Asher couldn't help but laugh. "So, Chloe ran all the way to Mamaica to get away from you? Man, your chances of winning her back just got even slimmer!"

But before he could finish his sentence, Michael had already hung up.

Asher shook his head with a grin. Michael's quick temper was nothing new.

He was about to get on with his day when his phone buzzed. It was Vicky.

"I'm at the airport. Can you pick me up?"

Asher frowned. "I'm not in the country."

"Yeah, I know. I'm talking about the airport here, in Mamaica."

At the airport, Asher looked at Vicky in confusion, casually strolling out of the terminal, sunglasses on.

Once she got in, he finally asked, "Why did you come too?"

She took off her sunglasses and replied casually, "What do you mean? Who else is here?"

Asher could tell this was a sensitive subject, so he decided to drop it.

"Just take me to the hospital," she said, sending him an address.

Asher's alarm bells went off immediately. "Why are you going to a hospital? Are you sick? What's so serious that you had to come all the way here?"

Vicky rolled her eyes at his reaction. "It's not me. I'm here to visit someone."

"Who?"

"James." Vicky focused on her phone.

"He's in Mamaica too?"

Asher was starting to piece things together, thinking Chloe had come with James.
