Alice, The White Werewolf novel Chapter 6

"Mate?  "Is that really you?" I looked intently at the figure of a handsome man who walked up to me.

"Alice? Why are you here? "This is a very dangerous place for you." Say Mate while sitting right in front of me.

"I don't know, Mate. It was time so fast, and when I realized I was already here, " I replied fearfully.

"The news of your marriage to Alpha has shocked our Wolf world."

"Isn't what you're saying true?" I was surprised.

"Of course, right." "I really didn't think you could marry him," said Mate regretfully.

"I don't know, Mate. "I faked marrying him, and I don't know what happened after that."

"I'm sorry, Alice. You're innocent.  "I was the one who was wrong for being late to find you," said Mate.

"Now come with me!" he added.

I followed Mate's lead. For some reason, it seemed to me then that it was better to be with a man who I didn't like at first but who could take me back to my old life than to have to live with a werewolf who always tormented me.

When Mate helped me walk, suddenly there was a very loud howl of a wolf's voice in my ear.

"Mate?  "Looks like Alpha knows where we are, " I said, panicking.

"Shit!  "Come on, let's hide first!" invite Mate.

When I was about to hide, following the direction of Mate's feet where he was going, again my feet stumbled by the branches of a tree that made me fall and have difficulty walking again.

"Aw! Mate? My leg?" My shoulder hurts.

"Luna? Hold on!"

Mate rushed to help get up and walk, but unfortunately, Alpha rushed to come and find out where me and Mate were.

"Let him go!" snapped Alpha with a huge voice and frightening fangs.

I lowered my head and did not dare to look in the direction of Alpha.

"No!  "I won't let him be with you!" argues Mate, who bravely fought Alpha.

"How dare you with me! Remember!  "Alice is married to me, which means that she is completely mine and my responsibility," said Alpha, who was accompanied by several wolves behind him.

"No!  "You married her not because you loved her but because you wanted to add your own power in order to turn the Wolf world into what you wanted it to be!" answered Mate.

"How can you be smarter than me, you cheap Wolf?" mocks Alpha.

"How dare you say that to me?"

Mate does not accept being taunted by Alpha. Immediately, he left me alone and ran against Alpha. The fight began.

"Mate!  No!" I shouted while crying.

I wanted to break them both, but with what power? My legs were unable to move. 

I saw Mate desperately defending me! I screamed even more when Alpha hit Mate in the face with all his might, making Mate fall to the ground overgrown with bushes.
