Quinnie looked at Jonas with a wry smile as she listened to the information. A group of men in their thirties and forties were acting as childish as children as they compared this and that.
The key was that even their parents were delighted.
Eloise said, "Lilly mentioned me! She wished me a Merry Christmas and said that I would definitely have a smooth year."
Osmond chimed in, "Lilly mentioned me too! I will definitely prosper this year."
Quinnie couldn't help but roll her eyes. It was as if their family had never prospered before.
"I'll take the child back to the room to feed him," Quinnie said. "You go and have your meal. You've worked hard."
Every time they had a meal, they would eat first, and Jonas would always hold the child and coax him.
Jonas kissed Quinnie on the forehead and said, "I'll come up as soon as I finish eating."
Grace, who was passing by, said, "Eww. I can't bear to watch!"
Quinnie carried the baby and prepared to go upstairs. She also intended to take the cup from the table, but Grace helped her pick it up.
Quinnie was surprised and said, "You have time to help me today?"
Grace replied casually, "I'm going upstairs too."
Quinnie didn't expose her, and the two sisters went upstairs. Grace helped her put the cup in the room and said before leaving, "By the way, you can give her a cup."
Quinnie was stunned and asked, "Give who?"
But Grace had already closed the door and left.
Quinnie finally realized that Grace suggested giving Lilly a cup!
After thinking it over, Quinnie inexplicably felt that it made sense. Lilly didn't lack anything, so giving her a cup... seemed like a good idea.
A cup for a lifetime. It sounded nice.
A small gift with deep sentiment. If necessary, she could always give a bigger gift bag.
The next day, Jonas took Quinnie to a branded store to buy a cup before they returned.
On New Year's Eve, most shops were closed, but Jonas and Quinnie had made arrangements in advance.
While they were choosing, the baby started crying. Jonas checked and said, "I'll go change his diaper. You can take a look first. I'll come and pay later."
After saying that, he was afraid that Quinnie would feel uneasy, so he habitually kissed her forehead. After giving birth, her figure had changed, and she had always refused to go out. It was only today that she agreed to come out to choose a cup.
Quinnie looked around the store and saw that there was no one else. The anxiety in her heart eased a lot, and she said, "Hurry back, okay?"
Jonas nodded.
