The Flame Beast King, who had been summoned, glared coldly at Lilly.
The small ghost beast instinctively reached out to shield Lilly's face, protecting her.
Before the Beast King could speak, the mighty-looking Pygmy Mouse spoke up again, "Biological father? Don't insult His Highness! His Highness can bleed and die. However, the one thing it can never do is cry. Yet, what do we have here? It's a disgrace!"
Lilly never knew that mice could be as scheming and despicable as humans. She turned her gaze towards the red-furred mice, thinking, There's a high chance this annoying mouse probably isn't the Beast King's child, right?
Was it afraid that Squeaky would return and take its place?
Could it be the next-generation Beast King appointed by the current Beast King?
Meanwhile, Squeaky felt both frustrated and resigned upon hearing its words.
It didn't want to cry. It wanted to fight fiercely and show off. However, it couldn't control its tendency to cry whenever it was agitated.
It was just too easy to cry. It really went against its nature not to cry. Sometimes, it would start crying when it got excited, making it difficult for it to speak. It hated itself for it.
Nevertheless, Lilly didn't hesitate to retort, "What's wrong with crying? So what if a girl cries? She can easily beat you black and blue even while she's crying! Is there even the slightest correlation that says that one can't be powerful even though they're a crybaby? Last I checked, there was nothing like that!"
There was a spark glimmering in Squeaky's eyes after hearing Lilly's words.
The red-furred mouse sneered, "Her? Fight?"
Lilly said confidently, "I dare you to fight her!"
When Lilly saw that the Beast King wanted to interject, she stood with her hands on her hips and glared at it fiercely. "Don't you dare say a word! You're a tyrant who doesn't even recognize your own child!"
The Beast King blinked at her, trying to understand whether it had been insulted. It seemed like it had been reprimanded. Yet, it also seemed like it hadn't. Why are humans so confusing?
Still, if it spoke against Lilly, wouldn't it just appear petty and indirectly confirm that it was a tyrant?
The Beast King sneered and didn't intervene. It wanted to see how strong the small ghost beast could be.
After all, it was just a female.
In the world of beasts, females only had one responsibility. They just needed to reproduce. Thus, they were never considered as potential candidates to become the next ruler.
Of course, it knew that Squeaky was its child. Did it matter in the long run? It was female.
So what if its totem was more powerful?
There were signs from the heavens on the day it was born. So, the current Beast King immediately designated it as the next Beast King. Unfortunately, it sensed a slightly different aura just when it was about to hatch.
It turned out to be a female!
It could already foresee that when the small ghost beast was born, it would cause him to be the butt of everyone's jokes!
Therefore, it never thought about searching for the small ghost beast when it went missing. So, it didn't matter, even if it proved that it was stronger than the red-furred one. It still wouldn't acknowledge it as its child.
Lilly and the small ghost beast never expected the truth to be so ridiculous. The Beast King didn't give the small ghost beast a chance to prove itself because it simply didn't want it to prove itself.
At this moment, the small ghost beast was filled with thoughts of its father and a determination to never give up.
It could already feel its father's presence even when it was still a mere egg. So, it had been striving to become as powerful as its father, the great king, even after it had gotten lost.
It was determined to prove itself to its father!
The small ghost beast still longed to go home, to be with its parents.
Red Hair looked at the small ghost beast and jeered, "You're such a tiny thing. I'm afraid I might accidentally step on you! Since that's the case, I'll give you three free turns!"
The small ghost beast's aura exploded as it spat, "You said it yourself!"
Then, it summoned Godzilla and promptly slapped Red Fur!
Red Fur was stunned. It had just seen that particular Godzilla earlier and knew that this tiny mouse didn't have the power to suppress it. How could it be slapped by that Godzilla?
An angry and humiliated Red Fur immediately wanted to show off its own totem.
