Lilly brought back a huge chunk of beef.
Upon seeing this, the Beast tribes were utterly astonished. This event marked a turning point, elevating the tribe to an unparalleled level of humility and unity.
Previously, internal conflicts were rampant as the tribe constantly battled for leadership. The appointment of a new Beast King often resulted in injuries or deaths of at least ten beasts. However, things had changed. No beast was willing to fight for this position anymore.
In the past, the Beast King held the exclusive right to mate first, claiming all the strong female beasts. Now, without a Beast King, the tribe had to adapt to survive. They began hunting together, and gradually, the tribe transitioned into a monogamous system. This ensured that no beast could steal another's mate as they feared being nominated as the next Beast King.
Lilly returned to the cave where she used to live.
"Wow, this beef is amazing!" Fortune and the others exclaimed in awe.
Lucky inquired, "Lilly, what was that beast we had before? It tasted like mutton and practically melted in our mouths."
The Elder chimed in with a nod, "Yeah, that was delicious." He recalled the thinly sliced meat swirling in the fondue soup that would cook in less than five seconds. He enjoyed that and wished she could catch more.
Lilly took a moment to think before responding, "Oh, that was a Gracehorn beast.
He was taken aback and accidentally spat out his soup. Bewildered, he asked, "What did you just say? A what?" He couldn't believe the delectable meat was from a Gracehorn beast. The shock hit him that she had managed to catch one and actually ate it.
She nodded, then added with regret, "We also encountered a Spiral Turtle at that time. Unfortunately, it can talk; otherwise, it would have been a tasty treat."
Upon hearing this, the Elder and the descendants were shocked. They knew that the Spiral Turtle couldn't be eaten.
Lilly suddenly recalled the purplish-red grass the Gracehorn beast was munching on when she caught it. It had a subtle fragrance, distinct from other grasses. However, at the time, she didn't look at it closely.
She casually grabbed a handful of grass and asked, "I'm not sure what kind of grass this is, but it has an indescribable fragrance. Is it edible?"
He stood up in shock. "This is the Wisdom Lotus!"
She was puzzled and couldn't see how it resembled a lotus. "What does it do?" she asked.
The Elder's hand trembled, and he clarified, "It's incredibly useful, no doubt about it!"
He explained, "In ancient legends, the Black Tortoise cultivated the aura of gods and ascended to godhood. Back in those times, when the Black Tortoise thrived, everything in the world reached spiritual maturity. Even an average person could cultivate and scale walls..."
He added, "The most powerful humans could soar through the skies, matching the Black Tortoise's might!"
He concluded, "Our Elders possessed immense power as they could sense the spirit aura between heaven and earth. They mastered cultivating with the spirit aura. Our witch tribe is unique; although we can also sense the spirit aura, our cultivation results don't match up to others."
