Lilly glanced up, exclaiming with delight, "Uncle Anthony!"
The man glanced at her and grunted in acknowledgment.
Then, he made himself comfortable before asking lightly, "Have you finished your homework?"
Drake and Josh nodded. "We finished them a long time ago."
"Do you even have to worry about us with our intellect?"
Josh scoffed as he continued, "You really be asking Hannah about that instead."
Hannah, who was nearby, immediately said huffily, "Don't you dare bring up homework when I'm right here!"
Lilly lowered her eyes, a barely noticeable smile playing at the corners of her lips.
The 'director' had made yet another mistake. Uncle Anthony would never start a conversation with his children's homework as the topic of discussion.
He had never once worried about his sons' academic performance. In reality, Drake had always been the tough taskmaster watching over his younger siblings.
She was even more certain about her analysis of this dream world. It didn't matter whether the time was rewound or the plot was fast-forwarded. Although there seemed to be fewer mistakes in terms of the bigger picture, the character settings were collapsing like a house of cards.
Manifestation of God's will simply didn't have a good insight regarding her relatives' characteristics. Thus, it would only make more and more mistakes!
A buzzing sound filled her ears. That familiar feeling was back!
Lilly curled her lips into a cold smirk as she said snidely, "I see how it is. The only thing you're good at is making me dizzy! Are you thinking about rewriting the script that you've prepared for me? If you're going to do that, why don't you just drag me back to the starting point?! However, I'll give you a fair warning! I'm definitely going to find my dad, Uncle Anthony, and Grandma faster than you can patch up your crumbling plot!"
It was as if time had come to a stop. Her relatives around her had stopped moving as the birds out the window froze mid-flight.
It was deathly silent.
The warm scene of the Crawford family enjoying their dinner disappeared in an instant. Before she could even gasp, she was promptly plunged into pitch-black darkness.
She was surrounded floating in the abyss before she found herself sitting alone in her original position with a large table of food in front of her.
Her beloved family members were nowhere to be seen.
It seemed that another new complication had arisen!
Lilly sat still. There wasn't a flicker of unease in her calm eyes.
All that build-up and what? That's it?!
The illusion couldn't hold up to her endless "revisions." So, the dream woven by the Manifestation of God's will shattered. Frankly, it was acting as though it was done with the pretense.
This time, it had tossed her into a completely different situation!
The darkness surrounding her shifted gently. It was so silent that all she could hear was her heartbeat and her breathing!
Nonetheless, she knew that the Manifestation of God's will was watching her every move.
The only one who could make such a series of calculated arrangements was the Manifestation of God's will.
Did it want to annihilate her?
"If you have truly become the Manifestation of God's will, you should be a complete version of it. There should be no such things as emotions or biases within you. I've never heard of a Manifestation of God's will that would seek revenge like a squalling infant. It certainly would never rewrite the countless fates of all the creatures under its protection. Fate is ever-shifting yet interconnected. A single change in an individual's fate will only be accompanied by countless changes in every person they have touched in their lives, past, present, and future. So, you can't change it all to suit your tastes—unless you destroy the whole world in your quest to control one person's life."
If it wanted to change the course of direction of her life and seal her within this dream… Well, that's simply an impossible endeavor.
"You can't trap me here because I'm stronger than you!"
Lilly's eyes sharpened. It seemed as if a strange light was flickering within her eyes!
Since she had been dumped into a new situation, she was no longer the weak version of herself!
Lilly watched with a distant gaze as her clothes changed from a pink princess dress to a blue and white garb. Then, she gradually felt herself aging from a five-year-old kid to a 10-year-old child.
