Everyone knew the consequences of betraying Greedy Wolf.
He was the Demon King, a character that only allowed himself to betray everyone, but would never allow a single person to betray him!
Guan Yi looked at everyone and didn't say anything.
"Got it." The 9th Court Court Chief, Luo Yang, nodded. Tang Fang and the rest nodded too.
They had all gathered here today to show that they were all in the same camp.
If anyone leaked their plans, then they would all have to die together.
To Greedy Wolf, no tattle tale would survive. As long as anybody betrayed him or even just thought of it, Greedy Wolf would make sure he died.
That was because he wasn't going to give anybody a second chance to betray him.
Once everything was settled, Guan Yi stood up.
"Alright then, I'll make the necessary arrangements, while all of you can go back and get yourselves ready. I hope that when I need all of you to take action, none of you will drag us down," he said calmly. "If there's something you want, you've got to rely on yourself to get it. But whether we can get it or not, will depend on the will of the heavens."
Even though that's what he said, he was still determined to attain his objective no matter how much it cost him. He wasn't going to give up until he got what he wanted.
As long as he thought about how Greedy Wolf had slapped him, Guan Yi's anger would rise and refuse to dissipate.
He was a Court Chief after all, but Greedy Wolf had humiliated him in front of everybody. He wasn't going to take that lying down.
He was going to settle both old scores and
new scores all at once.
After he had taken all precautions, he secretly left the Underworld. Greedy Wolf had locked himself in isolation and nobody knew what he was doing, so it was a good time to do this.
All these years, these people had left the Underworld before and walked about out there. But they never dared to reveal their true identities and didn't dare to upset the balance of the outside world because those were the rules.
