After receiving the kiss, his lips were stained with a vibrant color, looking incredibly enticing.

His voice was hoarse. “You hit me today.”

Josie was somewhat agitated. “You're the one who asked me to hit you.” And slap you twice.

He grinned, the veins on the hand resting on her neck bulging, filled with desire and possession.

Suddenly, Josie was reminded of the past, back when they were in bed. He always preferred that particular position. His possession of her was especially intense. He would touch her, filled with desire, yet his touch was always light.

At one point, she began to suspect that he had some sort of unique kink.

Dexter gave her a smile, gently tousling her hair. “I'll bring Grapes to see you tomorrow.”

Without any hesitation, he left. Josie felt the warmth on her body slowly dissipating as she watched him exit the room.

Then came the sound of footsteps descending the stairs. She walked to the window just in time to see Dexter passing by the magnolia tree all alone. Dressed in a white shirt and black trousers, he was the picture of restrained desire.
