The next day was Sunday, the last day of the weekend. Josie didn't stay long at the Russell Mansion and went straight back to the Olsen family.

In front of the Russell Mansion's gate, several black cars were parked. The one in the middle had its window half down. Moses was personally driving it.

“Are you making such a big show to make sure everyone knows about our relationship?”

Josie squinted her eyes, turning to look at the man beside her.

He was dressed in a shirt of gleaming black with golden highlights, one hand casually tucked into his pocket, the other holding Grape. He had the air of a polished scoundrel.

“Those who should know already know. Those who don't will eventually.”

He smirked and opened the car door for her. “Take your time to consider the name.”

The autumn sun cast a shadow on the man's profile. Before Josie got into the car, a breeze lifted her skirt, giving her an inexplicable sense of chilliness. As they talked, the rest thought they looked like a perfect couple.

The vehicle sped away, leaving the space in front of the door vacant in no time. All that was left was Dexter and the child by his side. His figure inexplicably became lonely.

The butler approached respectfully. “Mr. Russell.”

The man's smile had completely vanished.

“Have Cassidy come to the study to see me.”

“Yes.”

The Olsen family claimed to have dispatched dozens of cars to escort them at a safe distance, but in reality, only one vehicle actually returned to Olsen Residence while the rest had silently dispersed.

Laura was already waiting at the door. She was dressed in a teal outfit that exuded an air of stability and maturity.

“It's windy outside. There's no need to wait for me deliberately.” Josie frowned apologetically.

Laura took her arm naturally and joked, “Old Mr. Olsen treasures you so much. I made such a big mistake, so it's only right for me to come and pick you up.”
