Once the rehearsal was completed, Moses had waited in the car for a long time. Larry approached him immediately, lowering his voice. “Mr. Russell, there's news from Matthew.”

“Go on,” he said.

“He went to Japrium to seek out a plastic surgeon. He had some connections in the medical field, and it seemed he had a favor to ask of him.”

“Isn't it strange for a surgeon to seek a plastic surgeon?” Dexter strode out, adjusting his tie.

“Indeed, it's quite peculiar for him to travel all the way to Japrium. What on earth did Ms. Warren ask of him that made him undertake such a laborious task?”

This statement caused Dexter to pause slightly. “She is always capable of such things.”

At the mention of the topic, Moses, who was in the front seat, interjected, “A plastic surgeon? I think I've heard a thing or two about that.”

Dexter cast a sharp glance at him. “What?”

“I can't quite recall, but I believe Josie and Ms. Whiteford mentioned it before. Oh, that's right. There was this one time Ms. Whiteford handed a document to Josie that she wouldn't let me see. After she read it, her expression was quite odd. In the end, she even used a lighter to burn the document. I had no idea what it was.”

After some thought, Moses found himself puzzled by the situation. He had been too busy to report the matter to Dexter, and now that Josie had disappeared, he was trying his best to provide useful clues.
