Chapter 50
The picture that appeared was from the court’s official webpage. It was from three years ago. Silas was wearing a robe and debating in court passionately.
The app Jasper developed could find information on any person within five minutes. All it needed was a clear image of them uploaded to the app. The results were more accurate than those from search engines.
However, it had taken up to ten minutes to search Silas up. He was obviously someone who very seldom went out in public or took pictures. He didn’t have any social media accounts either. He was just an officer, but why was he so secretive?
“Jonah Taylor… Silas Taylor…” Jasper thought for a moment and suddenly widened his eyes. “Could he be

Jasper narrowed his eyes, and a stormy expression appeared on his face. His mouth went dry. He found it hard to breathe. So Alice never rejected anyone and immediately got close to Jonah after leaving him. Now, she had something going on with another guy from the Taylor family! Who did she think she was?
Right then, Jasper heard the sound of a sports car coming from behind. He looked out the window as a black sports car zoomed past. It was Alice’s car! Why would she be here? Things weren’t that simple!
He felt as if a fire was burning in his chest. He smashed his fist against the window. “Xavier! Chase after that car!”
The hotel entrance was swarming with reporters, and the officers had to go to a lot of trouble to get Dylan into the car. The press
conference ended in disaster. Silas did not follow them to the car but went to the back exit to wait for his sister patiently. A few minutes later, a black sports car stopped before him.
Sean wound down the window and said, “Good day, Mr. Silas.”
- “Hello, Sean!” Silas stooped to look at Alyssa, who was leaning against the passenger seat. He smiled and pinched his sister’s cheek. “It seems like Sean has been taking good care of you lately. You’ve even grown chubbier.”
“I did not!” Alyssa said angrily and pouted.
“You obviously did. You look even more adorable!”
Her brother was saying that she had gained weight the moment they met. How insensitive! No wonder he had been single since he was born! Meanwhile, Jasper saw them being intimate with each other. His expression darkened, and he clenched his fists tightly.
“What do you think? Do I look handsome today?” Silas raised his eyebrows and looked at his sister playfully.
“Yes, yes, you’re very handsome. You’ve raked in a huge fanbase for yourself this time. A lot of girls are searching for you online. You’re already on the trending search list,” said Alyssa. She leaned against the door and looked at Silas.
Jasper glanced at his ex–wife and felt his heart skip a beat. For some reason, he wished that he was in Silas‘ shoes so that he could look at her in the same way. He wanted to see her cheerful expression because she had never smiled at him like that before.
“You’re so corny. A romantic image doesn’t suit you. Being a joker suits you better!” They laughed and returned to the main topic of conversation. “Silas, I need you to help me with what’s coming too.” Alyssa frowned and said, “Don’t let that idiot who slandered us off the hook easily.”
“Don’t worry. He’ll need to spend at least three years in jail for all his crimes. I will never give him a chance to reduce his sentence or let anyone bail him out!” Then, Silas smiled proudly and said, “But we couldn’t have done it without you. You’re really very good at planning. Gardner fell for every trap you set up for him. How cooperative. If every bad guy is as predictable as him, it will save law enforcers a lot of
