Crushed Affections (Dominic and Bella) novel Chapter 406

At around 11:00 pm, Dominic received a call from Ian. He looked at his ongoing call with Bella and hesitated if he should answer. If he answered, his call with Bella would end automatically.

It wasn't until Ian called a second time that he decided to take the call. Ian would not normally call twice unless it was an emergency.

The second the call was connected, Ian excitedly asked, "Are you still in your office? It's already so late at night. Aren't you tired? Let's go and relax."

Dominic was immediately on high alert when he heard his friend say, "relax". So, he said, "You can go and play alone. I'm not interested in those women."

Ian laughed crazily as he said, "I'm not asking you to break whatever celibacy pact you have going on right now. You can continue to save yourself for Bella. I just want to spend some time with you.

"It's more of an interesting private gathering. I'm only asking you to join in on the fun."

Since that was the case, Dominic agreed as he was indeed bored in his office.

His call with Bella ended after he answered Ian's call. He did not call her back either, as he believed that she had already fallen asleep. He would only wake her up if he called her back now.

He proceeded to follow the address Ian had sent him and drove to a villa by the suburbs.

The space was dimly lit, exuding an air of ambiguity. Pulsating music blasted through the walls, and the tightly drawn curtains obscured the view. Shadows of people could be vaguely seen moving inside.

It was clear that this wasn't a proper gathering. It looked more like a wild and raucous house party.

Dominic was somewhat resistant to attending such parties. However, he was already there, and it wouldn't be proper of him to leave without meeting Ian.

When he entered the place, he immediately saw someone smoking in the entryway. The glow of the cigarette lit up their silhouette faintly.
