Aunt Evelyn patted the back of Camryn’s hand again before she said, “I’m going to help Dalton cook.”

While speaking, Aunt Evelyn rose to her feet to head there. Something crossed her mind, and she sat down again. She asked concernedly, “Is Trenton still unwilling to meet you?”

Camryn nodded her head.

Aunt Evelyn sighed and spoke up for her nephew. “Trenton is in a difficult position. Don’t blame him.”

Although Camryn was not wrong, it was hard for Trenton to accept that the sister he respected sent his parents and second sister to jail.

“I don’t blame Trenton. He’s a good kid. I believe he’ll slowly get over it.”

Aunt Evelyn reminded Camryn, “Mm. But you can’t leave him to hide outside all the time. Find time to meet him every day. Don’t let others seize the chance to win him over and incite him to turn against you.

“Where’s Trenton staying now? Give me his address. I’ll go talk to him.”

Camryn replied, “He’s staying in a classmate’s hometown in the countryside. It’s pretty far from the city, and it takes an hour to reach there. The countryside is big. Every time I meet him, I enter from the front door and exit from the back door. I don’t get to see him, so I can’t stop him.”

Camryn told Aunt Evelyn where Trenton was currently staying.

“Aunt Brenda and Aunt Amy always meet Trenton. Trenton’s cousins always call and text him too. I heard from Trenton’s classmate that they call and text him to criticize and badmouth me. They told Trenton to be assertive and snatch back Newman Enterprise.

“They even said to Trenton that they would help him unconditionally to snatch back the company if he needed their help.”

Camryn snorted. “I might be blind, but I clearly know their evil intentions. Trenton needs to go to university. If Newman Enterprise is handed over to him, he won’t have time to manage the business, so it’ll eventually fall into their hands.

“Now, I’m in control of the company. Even if they incite Trenton to turn against me, I won’t hand it to Trenton. If worst comes to worst, I’ll have the division of property settled through the courts.”
