After a moment of silence, Caroline said, “Mom, even you couldn’t lead the family back to what it was before after all these years. I can’t guarantee that I’ll be able to do it. Fisher Enterprise has much room for improvement in various aspects. However, those in charge of the respective departments are my brothers and children of other elders in the family.”

Caroline had not gained enough foothold in the company, so there was nothing she could do to those people yet.

Caroline nodded in agreement.

“That’s why you should stay and look after our family business. I’ll attend Mr. York’s wedding myself. I’m tired after all these years. I think I’ll stay in Wiltspoon for some time to relax.

“There are many fun places in Wiltspoon. I can think of this as a vacation.”

While Belinda had absolute power as the matriarch, she was also very busy. There was not much time to have fun. She could barely remember the last time she went on a trip.

Endless meetings and documents were awaiting her every day. Whenever something happened within the family, she had to host family meetings and come to a decision afterward.

“I’m guessing they might open it up to the guests for a day or two in conjunction with Mr. York’s wedding.”

Belinda smiled and said, “Visiting may be possible, but not an overnight stay. Wiltspoon Hotel is big enough to host all the guests who are traveling for the wedding. Only those close to the Yorks can stay in Wildridge Manor.
