Alex put on a smile. “President Yard, this is such a brilliant idea. Those people will definitely work hard during this period of time. Even if they can’t inherit anything, they’ll still think that you’ll reward them handsomely because of their diligence.”

Exhausted, Selena closed her eyes and said nothing. A moment later, she uttered, “To the hospital.”

Joaquin put down his book and walked up to her. “The doctor will give you some anesthesia so that you won’t feel any pain. The operation will be over when you wake up. However, when the anesthesia wears off, you might feel a little painful, but it should be tolerable, and you’ll get better soon.” He explained to her in his own way.
