In the afternoon, when Lachlan went to pick up Nora, he saw that her homeroom teacher had been replaced by another young female teacher. Alicia, who was always trying to please others, must have been fired. However, as he led Nora out of the kindergarten, he saw someone he really didn't want to see at the entrance.

Lachlan looked at them expressionlessly, "Family? Sorry but it hasn't been like that for a long time!"

"Nora, let's go!" He said leading her away from his ex-wife's family.

However at this moment Maisie and Adam blocked their way.

"Lachlan, how could you do this? Even if you can bear it yourself, what about Nora? Can she not recognize her own mother?" questioned Maisie.

"Have you ever seen a mother who would sell her own child to someone else?"

"Get lost!"

Lachlan's face was cold, and he spoke in a harsh tone.

"Oh come on, I'm not going anywhere. What are you going to do about it?"

Adam stuck his neck out and confronted Lachlan.

Lachlan frowned and tried to push them away, but before he could touch them, Maisie screamed loudly.
