"Caelan and the Austin family managed to fend him off for now," she continued. "But then what do you think happened?"

"What?" Isa's tone turned dark at the mention of Lachlan.

"The Britt family is done for!" Amelie exclaimed seriously. "Completely wiped out! Kristina and Darwin died on-site along with many others from their family; even their patriarch was arrested! And those who weren't there are now being hunted down!"

Isa was shocked by this news.
