"Liliana, what do you think I should do now?"
I stared at the windows blankly with vacant eyes.
For the past years, Perry was everything to me. Everything about me revolved around him. Now that without him around, I felt that I lost all my motivation. I was questioning the purpose of my life and the reason of my existence.
"Irene, he's just a scumbag. Luckily you realize his disgusting personality now. It will be too late if you only find out after you're married."
Liliana sat beside me and gave me a comforting hug. I could see the distress in her eyes.
"But my heart still hurts..."
I held Liliana in my arms tightly. I was done with crying for the past few days, but my heartache wouldn't go away.
"Irene, you will definitely forget him and you will find a man who is a million times better than him. Let him regret then!"
She looked into my eyes and spoke firmly.
I was very fortunate to have her by my side at this moment. Without her encouragement, I really didn't know if I would survive till now.
"Get up, change your clothes and put on some make-up. Let's go shopping today to vent all your feelings! After today, Perry will completely disappear from your life!"
Liliana dragged me out of the bed, forced me to change my clothes and put on makeup.
Then, we went to the nearest shopping mall and strolled around the women's clothing section.
I knew that this shopping mall was owned by the company Perry was in. I instinctively wanted to leave when I thought about it, but Liliana pulled me in stubbornly.
