Tricia was getting more and more nervous.

A while back, she had seen Ian once. He was standing in a crowd, eyes squinted, with a high, straight nose, talking to someone next to him. He was dressed in a well-tailored suit that looked impeccable, radiating an untouchable charm.

Now, she was finally standing in front of him for the first time, shaking all over from nervousness. She had been crushing on him for a long time, even more than three years.

She first knew his name, Ian, from a financial newspaper. Later, due to a series of coincidences, he became her sister's husband, but she didn't mind, because he would eventually divorce Maja.

Ian glanced at her and quickly looked away.

"What do you want?"

Tricia's hands fiddled nervously in front of her.

"I just heard you were here, I..."

"Are you stalking me?" Ian’s face turned cold.

Her affection for him was so obvious, it couldn't be ignored. Ian frowned, looking somewhat impatient.

"I've already told your father to tell you to stop."

Clearly, he mistook Tricia for Maja. Tricia stood there, pale, but then a gleam of ecstasy appeared in her eyes. It seemed that he didn't like Maja at all, if he did, he wouldn't have this attitude towards the Pennyfeather family.

Ian frowned, remembering what Holden had once said, and sneered. He didn't know how his grandfather had been fooled into praising someone so useless.

Tyler raised an eyebrow, speaking bluntly, "Compared to Carlene, Maja falls short, no wonder you don't want anything to do with her."

That woman's ambition was too big, as if she wanted to completely possess Ian. Even after being neglected for three years, she still kept her enthusiasm.

Was it because of true love, or because she saw Ian's family background?
