After wandering around all afternoon, Phil was ready to head back to his room when he bumped into someone coming the other way. His observation skills were sharp, and he instantly recognized the person as someone who had bumped into him before.

He had investigated all the recent deaths, and among them were six individuals from Windhelm. That was curious because Windhelm folks were rare in these parts, but to have six appear in one month was beyond unusual.

He knew he had to inform Philip and urge him to be on guard, but the collision left him feeling woozy, as if he had inhaled something. Ian's drugged concoction was potent, meant to muddle the senses for days on end.

What Ian didn't realize was that Phil had grown up in a research base, rendering him immune to most chemicals.

Shaking off the disorientation in mere seconds, Phil grabbed Ian's arm with a swift motion. Ian, quick on his feet, kicked Phil away and vanished into a crowd dressed in hazmat suits.

Phil hit the ground, clutching his aching chest. He quickly got up, eyes red, and went to find Philip.

"Some guy just drugged me. My head was spinning for a few seconds, but he doesn't know I grew up in the lab, immune to all that stuff."

Philip's eyes lit up slightly, a smirk forming on his lips, "Find out anything else?"

"Yeah, Philip. There's a strange number of Windhelm people dying off lately. The research base is usually filled with faces from North America or Astronia. Hardly any Windhelmers. But this month, six of them kicked the bucket. Pretty odd, huh?"

Philip was now certain that Ian was in their midst. He chuckled, his eyes narrowing with mirth.

Phil, confused by Philip's reaction, asked curiously, "Something amusing on your mind?"

Philip stretched out and clapped him on the shoulder, "I do feel happy; found something fun."
