Maja shot up and headed for the door, but as she did, she heard footsteps coming from the staircase.

It wasn't just one person.

Then, a man's voice echoed.

“Someone have a dog here?”

It was Ian's voice.

Maja quickly withdrew and closed her door.

Maria was about to deny it, but then she heard a dog barking. What was going on?

Ian's face turned serious, “Get it out of here.”

Maria didn't dare to respond, she immediately headed downstairs as soon as he entered the room.

At the same time, Maja came out too, she grabbed Maria.

“Maria, did you forget to lock up Coco?”

Maria rubbed her head, her face full of guilt.

“I guess I forgot to lock the door, Coco is too smart now, he can open the door by himself if it’s not bolted."

Maria quickly headed downstairs, "Maja, don't worry, I will lock him up right away.”

Maja's heart raced, she shot a glance at the closed door at the end of the hall and reminded, “Then hurry up, don’t let Mr. Raymond discover it.”

Maria nodded, and immediately headed for the garden.

For the last couple of days, Coco has been living in Maja's new house. Even though the house was spacious, Coco still preferred the garden.

So, as soon as he came back, he opened the door by himself. At the moment, he was joyfully digging in the garden.

Maria was worried that Coco would be found by Mr. Raymond, she didn't dare to scold him, but quickly walked over to him and led him away.

Ian was standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling window. Although he didn't see the dog, he did hear the barking. It must be a pet of the staff here.

He didn't give it much thought, instead, he turned around and resumed his meeting.
