Maja shot up and headed for the door, but as she did, she heard footsteps coming from the staircase.

It wasn't just one person.

Then, a man's voice echoed.

“Someone have a dog here?”

It was Ian's voice.

Maja quickly withdrew and closed her door.

Maria was about to deny it, but then she heard a dog barking. What was going on?

Ian's face turned serious, “Get it out of here.”

Maria didn't dare to respond, she immediately headed downstairs as soon as he entered the room.

At the same time, Maja came out too, she grabbed Maria.

“Maria, did you forget to lock up Coco?”

Maria rubbed her head, her face full of guilt.

“I guess I forgot to lock the door, Coco is too smart now, he can open the door by himself if it’s not bolted."

Maria quickly headed downstairs, "Maja, don't worry, I will lock him up right away.”
