Maja pretended not to hear that and asked, "Did you meet someone named Emory when you were in Crystalbrook Valley last year?"

"He is too busy to deal with my small problems, and we're just on friendly terms."

Samuel laughed again, "Alright, I'll call Emory. But even if he agrees not to press charges, your cousin will have to pay. Over twenty stitches is no small matter, you understand that, right?"
