Neil's been moved to a general ward, but he's still out cold with oxygen mask.

His head is all wrapped up in bandages, which makes him look like he's aged a decade overnight.

Maja asked the doctor standing nearby.

"When will my father wake up?"

"Ms. Pennyfeather, your father was already weak before the accident, and his body's been massively drained. We can't tell when he'll wake up; it could be today or a month from now."

Maja's eyes filled with tears at the news.

Cristina was freaking out knowing Neil had been moved to a general ward.

She was at the Pennyfeather family's company and went straight to Carter, her voice filled with panic.

"What do we do? Maja's got two bodyguards posted at the door; I can't find a chance to get in."

Carter didn't look too good either; I didn't expect Neil to hold on for so long.

"Don't sweat it; we got to keep Maja busy. We have a chance as long as she's not at the hospital."

Cristina was hanging on by a thread; she felt like breaking down whenever she saw Maja.

"Didn't you say Glenn was interested in Maja? Now it's just you, me, and Glenn here, and Maja doesn't even know where the front door is. We can secretly take control of all the company stocks, then have Glenn seduce Maja, preferably sleep with her; then she'll be on our side, and we won't have anything to fear."

Carter pulled her into a hug with a sharp look in his eyes.

"Once Neil wakes up, tell him Maja doesn't give a damn about his life; that’ll surely worsen his condition."

Cristina was calmed by his words, and went to find Glenn immediately.

Glenn was also on edge; it was not the best time to go against Carter, considering their fates were now intertwined.

"Glenn, make a move on Maja. She's been neglected by Ian for years, probably lonely. If you can satisfy her, she'll listen to you."

Glenn knew he couldn't delay any further, or they'd be in deep trouble once Neil woke up and got lawyers involved.

His eyes narrowed, remembering when he bumped into Maja at the hospital, she was buying that kind of medicines, probably quite wild in private.
