Maja froze, unable to deny it.

"Tyler."

She whispered his name, then briskly walked past him and headed out.

Tyler noticed the marks on her, the Greenfield Gardens blueprints clutched in her hand, her red-rimmed eyes, and her trembling fingertips. She looked like she'd been bullied.

"Penny."

He called out to her.

Maja's steps halted at his snide tone, "Was Ian that rough?"

Maja's shoulders shivered slightly, Pretending not to hear, she lowered her head and quickened her pace.

Tyler chuckled softly, hitting the elevator close button.

He made his way to the penthouse and knocked on Ian's door.

It took three minutes before Ian finally opened up.

Tyler first surreptitiously sniffed around the room, not detecting any odd smells.

"Ian, if I were to gather everyone right now and tell them that you tried to force yourself on a married woman, do you think they'd believe me?"

Ian, now in his silk pajamas, looked even taller and exuded an air of elegance. He didn't want to discuss the matter, which only piqued Tyler's interest further.

"I just ran into Penny in the elevator; she was as pale as a ghost."

At this, Ian's pen hand paused.

Tyler had a quiet laugh to himself before settling down seriously.

"Did you really do it? Come on, Carlene's back now. If you're just looking for female company, you've got a woman ready. Why go after someone else's wife? Doesn't that feel filthy?"
