Ian hung his head low, his eyes filled with surprise. He knew this was the chance he had been waiting for. "Grandpa, I want to divorce Maja. I've never loved her."

The words hung heavy in the hospital room. Ian thought his grandfather would oppose, would scold him, but instead, the old man slowly stood up, leaning on his cane, his voice carrying a hint of sadness.

"Then do as you wish. You've already got someone else in your heart, you're no longer worthy of Maja. However, due to the Raymond family's two rounds of investment in the Pennyfeather group, Maja might be a bit reluctant to divorce immediately. She proposed a three-month period.
