There was a smug look on Mia's face, and she looked at Maja contemptuously. Maja found it hilarious.

"So you, as the director, want to kick me out based on a student's slander, without even investigating? Is that how the school functions? There are many investors here today. Can you take responsibility?"

Dalia's face changed.

Indeed, many of those viewing the exhibition were investors, and it wouldn't look good if this blew up.

But Mia stood her ground, head held high. "The investors are smart, they should understand that this is not the school's fault. The school's duty is to uphold justice and set an example for the students. You stole my bracelet, punishing you only strengthens our belief in the school's principles. Don't use the investors to threaten us. Miss, I think she should be expelled."

Mia wasn't scared. After all, the Shepard family wasn't big shots, and they were going to collaborate with her anyway. Dalia should side with her no matter what.

The principal, over fifty, with sharp features, furrowed his brows at the commotion, especially seeing Mia's involvement.

"What's going on? Dalia, why are you still here? Weren't you supposed to guide the VIPs?"

The principal was in a hurry to receive the VIPs, stopping here was just on the way.

He then turned to Mia, "Mia, what happened?"

His tone noticeably softened.
