He had never met a woman with such a short fuse.

"Because Carlene pissed you off?"

She spoke nonchalantly, ordering food on her phone and also getting a fresh cup of coffee.

Although Ian wasn't fond of drinking coffee in such cafes, he was a bit miffed that she didn't order anything for him.

He glanced at the menu, realizing that a cup of coffee wasn't that expensive. Was she really unwilling to spend even this small amount of money on him?

Maja chuckled. "You think you know me; you think I won't make excessive demands. So you want to get rid of me with some money, then you can show it off to your goddess. As for the conflict between me and Carlene, you don't care at all, you only care about what you want."
