Maja froze, utterly clueless about what to say.

She lowered her eyes, mentally calculating the remaining time till her divorce, and still couldn't find the words.

"Mr. Raymond, give me a few days to think."

Seeing Maja's defenses soften, Ian surprisingly cooled off.

Maja understood that if she kept resisting, he would only push harder.

He'd been in his position for so long, always the golden boy; there was no way he'd turn all soft and fluffy.

"Alright, first take me off your blacklist."

In front of him, Maja removed him from her blacklist.

As she was about to leave, Ian grabbed her, pinned her against the wall, and kissed her for half an hour.

"Penny, don't mention Carlos's incident to anyone; I've got it handled."

Although Ryan was serious, there was always a teasing tone in his voice.

Maja agreed, then heard him ask, "Is Ian pursuing you?"

She really was at a loss for words.

A hint of surprise flashed in Ryan's eyes. Why wouldn't it be possible? Ian had already made it pretty obvious.
