As soon as Maja walked in, she heard the barking of a dog. From a distance, she saw a snowy white dog running towards her, excitedly circling around her.

Maja bent down to give it a pat on the head.

"Coco, have you been good while I was away?"

Maria came out of the house, wearing an apron and looking about fifty, very kind.

"Ms. Pennyfeather, he's been a handful when you're not around. He even went fishing in the pond yesterday, and caught all the fish. I had to help him to remove the tiny bones and cook the fish for him to eat."

Maja found it amusing and gave Coco's head a good rub, "Why you are such a foodie."

Coco is a German shepherd, now about six years old, always sticking with Maja.

Maja's apartment couldn’t keep dogs, and Holden just gave her this villa. She rarely came over, so she had Maria look after Coco.

After playing for a while, Maja dragged her suitcase into the house.

Seeing the suitcase, Maria's eyes sparkled with surprise.

"Ms. Pennyfeather, have you finally decided to move in?"

"My apartment got robbed, so I'm staying here for a few days."

Maria was both surprised and worried, "Did you call the police? It's dangerous for a girl to live outside alone. You should stay here from now on. Holden asked me to look after you, but you've rarely visited in the past three years. I don't know how to explain it to him."

"I'll have to stay here until I find a new place to live."

Maja teased Coco with one hand, her lips slightly curling up.

Coco lay on the ground, wagging his tail like crazy, his eyes sparkling.

On the other side, Ian had just dropped off Maja when he got a call from Holden.

"Ian, I'm about to finish my paperwork, I'll be back soon."

Ian rubbed his temples, "I know, Grandpa, take care of your health."

"If you really care about me, you'd hurry up and have a child with Maja. Maybe that would speed up my recovery. What use is verbal concern?"

Ian thought of the beautiful handwriting on the agreement, Maja.
