Maja landed a quick peck on Ian, but he quickly took control of the situation, dominating as usual.

He led her to the window sill with his arms wrapped around her. Behind her was an opened window, with snowflakes dancing in the air unabated.

Chill seeped into her body, but what was in front of her was his warmth. Being in this situation of ice and fire was unbearably thrilling.

Ian held her tightly.

"Penny, let's just settle it like this."

Maja's eyes were sparkling, about to say something, yet he suddenly sped up like a raging storm.

All she could do was grip him tightly.

"When I get bored, I'll stop, but I'm not bored yet."

Maja stiffened, then slowly lay down.

The softness in her body suddenly turned into a deep bone-piercing pain, but she understood it was normal.

Staring at the ceiling, she heard the balcony door being pushed open, then closed her eyes.

Ian smoked outside and didn’t immediately lay down next to her. Instead, he went to the bathroom to brush his teeth to make sure he didn't smell of smoke, then slowly returned to bed.

The call was from Holden Raymond, who had been told by someone that Ian might have a stable girlfriend. Normally, Holden wouldn't bother with such matters, but he still asked Ian.

If Holden knew about Penny's existence, the consequences would be unthinkable.

So Ian said he wasn't bored yet, implying he didn't like Penny and their relationship wouldn't lead to marriage.

Holden, indeed, scolded him a few times, then left him alone.
