He opened his mouth, trying to argue back, but only ended up staring at her blankly.

Maja had already helped Beck up, persistently kept on asking if he was okay.

Beck had come there alone tonight; he really needed her to drive him.

Originally, Ian's anger was like a roaring lion, wishing he could tear Beck apart, but now he stood silently, almost as if he wanted to become a statue.

Tyler knew that he wouldn't speak up, so he quickly chipped in, "You're heading to the hospital, right? Could you give us a lift? Ian needs to get checked out too."
