When Maja heard the news, her heart was racing like crazy, making her feel super uneasy.

She furrowed her brows, casually grabbing a pair of PJs from her wardrobe.

But when she opened the wardrobe, she was shocked to find his clothes still there.

His clothes neatly took up half of the space, just like how he was trying to force his way into her life.

Maja was feeling a bit knackered tonight. She didn't say anything and just headed straight for the bathroom.

By the time she got back, Ian had already taken a shower. He was wearing the PJs Jeff had brought.

When Maja turned on the tap, the hot water hitting her skin made her feel like her muddled mind was finally starting to clear up.

Outside the bathroom, Ian listened to the sound of the water, watching her silhouette through the frosted glass. He suddenly felt a strong desire rising within him.

He laid on his side in bed, wondering if Maja would sleep with him tonight.

But he was definitely overthinking it. When Maja came out of the bathroom, she was drying her hair and instructed him, "You should hit the hay already."

After saying that, she was heading for the guest room.

Ever since he claimed her master bedroom, she hadn't slept there anymore.

Ian was a bit miffed, patting the edge of the bed.

"There's plenty of space in this bed. Why go sleep in the guest room?"

Maja frowned, wondering if he was pulling her leg. Given their current relationship, how could they possibly sleep in the same bed?

She didn't answer and just went to the other bedroom.

Lying in bed, she couldn't fall asleep, and her mind was filled with things that happened at Solstice College.

He was back.

She was confident the man just now was him. But what was the deal with the letter?

She couldn't help but get out of bed, wanting to read the letter again. But just thinking of the box hidden in the master bedroom where Ian was sleeping, she worried about what he might think if she went in.

She had no choice but to suppress her curiosity and force herself to sleep first.

In the master bedroom, Ian was tossing and turning, unable to sleep. Maybe it was a man's intuition, but he felt like something terrible was about to happen.

He really wanted to sleep with Maja in his arms. At least that would make him feel a bit more at ease.
