Ian had pulled out all his suits from his closet and dumped them on the bed.

Jeff arrived and diligently organized each one.

Ian stood in front of the empty closet, his eyes drifting to a small box at the very back.

"Boss, I've finished organizing," said Jeff from behind.

Ian closed the closet door. His eyes scanned the room, finally landing on a shelf by the window.

The room still held the aroma of last night's romance, but it quickly turned frosty.

He hung his head and exited the room.

As he was about to get into his car, Coco darted out from nowhere and bit onto his pant leg.

Coco was crazy about Ian from the start. When they were still together, Coco was always clinging to him.

The last time he took Coco to the pet hospital, the dog grew even more fond of him.

Its tail was wagging so hard it could've taken flight.

Ian eyed the dog's tooth prints on his expensive suit pants, his brow slightly creased.

He opened the car door and got in.

The next second, Coco jumped into the car with him.

Ian was speechless.

A dog was more sensible than Maja.

Jeff, sitting in the passenger seat, gasped. He knew Ian was allergic to dog hair, and if he ended up at the hospital, no one could handle the consequences.

"Boss, I'll get it out of the car right now," Jeff offered.

Ian looked at Coco and remembered how nervous Maja was last time and instructed Jeff, "Go delete the surveillance footage from Rosewood Manor. Don't let them know Coco left with me."

Jeff twitched at the corner of his mouth, finding the order a bit childish. They had been living here for quite some time, and now they had to sneak away with the dog secretly.

But it was an order from Ian, so he went to find the surveillance room.

Everyone there had to turn a blind eye to Jeff's intrusion.

After deleting the surveillance, Jeff returned to the car.
