Maja had spilled the beans about Coco on Facebook before, so anyone who saw that post knew how much Coco meant to her.

After Beck reprimanded her, he sighed and said.

"Actually, my sister doesn't want you two together. So all you have to do is make Ian dislike you. Minimize your contact with him. If you have to meet, make sure he finds you unpleasant. Maja, my sister has Ian's love. You can't compete with that."

So, Beck was really just looking out for her.

Maja bowed her head, "I know."

She could only blame herself for being too weak.

Maja shook her head, pointing to a small sofa in the corner of the corridor, "I'll just wait here. Let me know when his meeting is over."

Jeff nodded, and as he entered the meeting room, he immediately saw the man sitting by the floor-to-ceiling window.
