Selena sneered, "It's not her problem, but the fact that you Pennyfeathers don't measure up to the Raymonds. I'm sure you know this, but if she hadn't saved Holden, there would be no chance between her and Ian."

Cristina, usually quick with words, didn't dare retort when facing Selena.

She was just pissed off that Maja hadn't been able to keep Ian's heart, which had led to her and Neil being humiliated.

Selena glanced at Maja and found her still aloof, which made her even angrier.

"This contract clearly states that you must divorce after a year. Even if Ian can't control his desire for you, you must take contraceptives. The Pennyfeathers are not worthy of bearing Ian's child. I absolutely do not want my grandson born into a family where the unworthy thrive."

These harsh words sharpened Maja's gaze.

"Ms. Casson, I didn't want to argue with you before because I respect you as an elder. I've been here for three years and I believe I've been completely transparent. I have no disputes with Ian. You've insulted me many times, and I've chosen to shrug it off. But today, you actually summoned my father! Do you think this is appropriate?"

For some reason, seeing Coco this morning made Selena very angry, possibly because the dog reminded her of some unpleasant things.

So she kept a stern face and didn't spare any face for Maja.

Her eldest son used to have a dog of the same breed as Coco.

But everyone knew that her eldest son had passed away six years ago.

She spoke nonchalantly and picked up her bag.

"Holden's plane lands at six tonight. Don't forget to pick him up. Ian will be there too. Don't forget to bring me the contract after you sign it."

After saying these words, Selena left proudly.

Maja couldn't refute these words.
