But before Ian could get up to find Maja, Tyler jokingly suggested from the side, "How about I feed you?"

"No way."

Ian's face looked pretty gloomy, as if he'd been rubbed the wrong way.

Tyler shrugged, glanced at the time, and thought about the other stuff he had to take care of.

"Alright, I'll come see you tomorrow."

After he left, Fitch also got up. "I need to supervise the work over there. I'll have someone else come feed you."

"There's no need for that."

Ian wasn't keen on having others see him in such a sorry state.

But Fitch didn't argue, he just went to the neighboring hospital room.

Maja could've been discharged this morning, but for some reason, she kept delaying the procedure.

At this point, Fitch arrived at her room and knocked on the door.

"Ian's awake, you take care of him."

After saying that, he didn't wait for Maja's response and just left.

Slowly, Maja got out of bed and walked over to Ian's room.

After thinking for a moment, she decided to knock on the door.

Ian originally thought that Fitch really brought a nurse. His mood was already bad, now it got even worse. He frowned and tried to pick up the spoon again.

"Buzz off."

He had just finished speaking when the door to the room opened, and Maja was standing in the doorway.

Hearing him tell her to leave, she hesitated about whether to close the door and leave.

"Come over here, what are you doing standing there?"

But when he saw it was Maja standing there, he put down the spoon again and said helplessly, "I'm out of strength."

Maja felt like she owed him a favor, so she really came back and even closed the door on her way in.

His mood improved slightly, but he still felt bad. Why did she come just now?

Was she intentionally waiting for him to get really sick before coming?

Maja went over to the bed, picked up the spoon, stirred the vegetable soup a few times, and then fed it to his mouth.

"Ian."

She originally wanted to call him 'Mr. Raymond', but in the end, she just called him by his first name.

Ian sneered, "What's up? Why are you hesitating to call my name?"

Maja didn't answer. Seeing that he was finally willing to eat, she sighed with relief and scooped up another spoonful of porridge.

Ian was being taken care of very comfortably. He glanced at her.

Maja's face was likeable, no matter how he looked at it.

Why did he like her so much? It was strange.

"Do you like this soup?"

Maja asked, scooped up some soup with a small spoon, blew on it gently, and then brought it to his mouth.

Ian took a sip and then asked.

"I heard you haven't come to see me for most of this month?"

Maja lowered her eyelashes, quietly stirring the soup in the bowl.

She didn't answer, which was as good as admitting it.

Ian was very angry and really wanted to slap all the food and soup on the table away.
